Clutch Pro Tour
The Northern Ireland Open presented by Modest! Golf will be delivered by the Clutch Pro Tour, a leading golf event organiser in the UK who have delivered the event since 2021. They are the first truly gender equal tour with mixed gender pairings and equal prize funds.
2022 NORTHERN IRELAND OPEN
CLUTCH Pro Tour Event & DP World/LET/LPGA Qualifier (ISPS HANDA World Invitational)
- The leading two male and leading female player earn starts at the ISPS HANDA World Invitational presented by Modest! Golf from August 11-14, 2022
- Limited to 104 professionals. The format is one professional, one amateur who will play together in a ‘Dunhill Links’ style format.
- Players can enter individually (and we will pair you up) or as a team of two.
DATE: July 4-6, 2022
VENUES: Day 1 Cairndhu | Day 2 Castlerock | Day 3 Galgorm Castle
TEE-TIMES: From 7.30am daily
ENTRY FEES
Professional entry fee: £300
Elite amateur entry fee: £300 (elite amateurs are eligible to win the tour starts but must turn pro to take them up)
Amateur partner: £225 (all amateurs who are partnering one of the above – note: this category is not eligible for tour starts)
Amateur partner and member of a host club: £150
All players guaranteed six rounds of golf (three practice rounds, three tournament rounds – see further details below)

PRIZE FUND: £15,000
CLOSE OF ENTRIES: Seven days before event at 5pm (all tee-time requests MUST be made BEFORE close of entries)
FORMAT: 54 Holes Strokeplay | Play-off to decide winner & tour starts, if required. All players play at Cairndhu on day 1 (Mon 4) & Castlerock on day 2 (Tues 5). The top 60 pro’s and top 10 Pro-am teams qualify to play at Galgorm on the 3rd and final day (Wed 6).
All amateurs & professionals who missed the cut, there is a plate competition at Cairndhu on Wednesday July 6.

ENTRY CRITERIA: First come, first serve (entries taken in order received)
PRACTICE ROUNDS: Free of charge at all venues for professionals. Available times to be announced.

RANGE: One free range token per player on tournament days, grass range & chipping green available.

Cairndhu
Coastal headland along the Antrim coast near Larne, between Belfast and Portrush. Cairndhu Golf Club always provides a warm welcome for members and visitors. Host of the 2021 NI Open and the 2021 ISPS HANDA World Invitational qualifier.
Galgorm
Northern Ireland’s premier tournament venue. Home to the ISPS Handa World Invitational, host venue to the 2020 Dubai Duty Free Irish Open and perennial home of the Northern Ireland Open. Galgorm is one of the best parklands in the country with international recognition.
Castlerock
A classic links course set amid towering dunes. Situated on the Causeway coast and only a 20 minute drive from both Royal Portrush Golf Club and Portstewart Golf Club, Castlerock is an exceptional links venues on the Antrim coast that complements its neighbours like Royal Portrush.
